How We Help
Sophie's Foundation's provides financial assistance in two ways.
The first is directed towards orphan and adoption-oriented non-profits. The Foundation provides approved agencies and organizations with monies for IT work. Our IT department will build out whatever web site development or technical programming is needed. Payment will be made directly to Sopie's Foundation. If you are an adoption agency or an organization that provides services directly to orphans or adoption, and would like to learn more or apply, please visit the Technology Projects page.
The second area is the provision of financial assistance to adoptive parents. The Foundation will only work with individuals who have passed their homestudy and are working with an accredited agency or attorney. Grant recipients will not receive their grant directly. The Foundation will send funds to the agency or attorney. We will not fund the entire adoption. Most likely the Foundation will cap its grants at roughly 30% of total costs.
